My first experience working with children I had got in NZ. I was a volunteer in After School and School Holiday Programmes. As a member of their team I had been responsible for the supervision and care of children aged from 5 to 14 years old, in their programmes which attract up to 60 participants a day.
My responsibilities had included: participating in games and crafts; supervision of ‘free-time’ activities including water sports; food preparation and serving; and cleaning.
After that I had worked in the Gladstone Park Early Childhood Care Center. I prepared food and looked after kids with other supervisors. I attended to tasks willingly and completed all that I had been asked for.
I also worked as a baby-sitter for two kids 4 and 6 years old.
In Moscow I was a supervisor for a girl of 11 years old. I helped her to prepare homework and took her to the after school activities.
